Overview
Church of the Holy Cross in Crozet, Virginia (Diocese of Christ Our Hope) is seeking a full-time Curate to serve in a three-year pastoral residency beginning Summer 2026. This goal of this curacy to form and launch faithful Anglican clergy through hands-on ministry, intentional mentorship, and supervised leadership responsibility within a growing and vibrant parish just outside Charlottesville.
Responsibilities- Share in preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and liturgical leadership, while taking primary responsibility in areas such as small groups, youth ministry, local outreach, volunteer coordination, and faith-and-work initiatives.
- We are seeking a man called to lifelong Anglican ministry, either ordained or on the ordination path, eager to be formed and sent out as a rector or church planter after the residency.
Our parish context provides an excellent capstone ministry formation experience, especially for recent seminary graduates and those beginning vocational ministry.
