Agency interpreters do not work on teacher planning days or professional learning days.
Extension: Potential opportunity to continue into the school year
Caseload: 4 students
Position OverviewSeeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to provide on-site support at a local High School. The interpreter will accompany assigned students throughout the school day, delivering accurate interpretation of instructional content and other auditory information across educational settings.
This role may require clarification, re-teaching, or re-delivery of information to ensure full student comprehension. The interpreter will also support communication between students and their hearing peers to promote meaningful social interaction and inclusion within the school environment.
Minimum RequirementsActive Georgia licensure/credentials (verification required at time of submission)
EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
Active Georgia Educator Certification (required with submission)
Full-time availability
Ability to work on-site only
