Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, particularly working one-on-one with students
• Understanding of classroom routines and effective student support strategies
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers and school staff
• Ability to implement individualized strategies and accommodations
• Empathy, patience, and enthusiasm for helping students overcome challenges
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional related training or certification is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, one-on-one assistance to a designated student, supporting academic and behavioral goals
• Assist with classroom management and help reinforce teacher-led lessons
• Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of the assigned student
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth in a positive, respectful manner
• Record and report student progress as requested by educators
• Foster a cooperative and engaging learning environment

This position offers pay between $17 and $22 per hour, recognizing your commitment and the valuable service you provide.
