Henry County Public Schools Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School - Collinsville, Virginia
Job DescriptionFOR THE School Year (OPEN UNTIL FILLED)
Provide guidance and leadership in the development of a middle school boys' baseball program. The coach will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the baseball field and will be expected to travel with the team. The coach will also lead and develop the coaching staff.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be age 21 or older
- Successful completion of the NFHS Concussion in Sports course accessible s.org prior to beginning coaching duties with HCPS (there is no fee associated with this course)
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators
- Ability to motivate students
- Ability to be dependable and punctual
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required
- Previous experience as a coach or participation in the sport at the high school or college level
- Current CPR certification
