Job Type: Part‑time (50% – 3.63 hours per day)

Teach, lead, and inspire students in the Photography (Visual Arts) program. Design and deliver curriculum aligned with state standards, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to support student success.

• Develop and implement instructional plans for photography courses
• Assess student work using rubrics and provide formative feedback
• Integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning
• Participate in school‑wide meetings and professional learning communities
• Collaborate with teachers of other content areas to promote interdisciplinary projects
• Maintain a safe and creative classroom environment

• Eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement to teach Photography (Visual Arts)
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Photography, or related field
• Demonstrated experience or coursework in photography and visual arts
• Strong communication, instructional, and organizational skills
• Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
