We are looking for private music instructors who share this philosophy and who are committed to making music lessons accessible and affordable. While we do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in the Potomac Falls area, students need teachers ASAP and lessons can take place in their homes, in your own space, or via webcam.

Most students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors willing to travel within the Potomac Falls, VA area.

As an independent contractor, you will be paid between $20 and $30 per hour, depending on travel time, your experience, education, and student retention. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Taylor Robinson Music handles all advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing so you can focus on teaching.

• Conduct lessons in students’ homes, your own home, studio, or via webcam (when requested).
• Travel to students’ locations within the Potomac Falls, VA area.
• Maintain punctuality, organization, and good communication with the office.
• Follow COVID‑19 safety protocols: wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.

• Formal music training is not mandatory; however, you must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with children and a passion for teaching.

Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, set your own schedule and curriculum, and receive marketing and billing support from the company.
