Job Summary:
The Middle School Science Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality science instruction to middle school students. This role involves developing and implementing engaging science lessons, fostering scientific inquiry and exploration, and creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment that encourages students' curiosity and understanding of scientific concepts.

Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field. Valid state teaching certification in Science or secondary education. Previous experience teaching middle school science preferred. Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, instructional strategies, and best practices in education. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Proficiency in using educational technology and scientific software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods. Capacity to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of educational materials and laboratory equipment. Ability to perform tasks involving manual labor, such as setting up laboratory experiments and managing classroom supplies. Work Environment:
Work is performed in a classroom and laboratory setting. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school functions, science fairs, and professional development.
