Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Teaching experience in English, Language Arts, or related fields preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents, and cadets
- Commitment to fostering a structured and disciplined learning environment
- Teach English 9, English 10, Personal & Professional Skills 11 & 12, and other courses as assigned
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and cadets
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date grade book
- Mentor cadets through weekly advisory meetings
- Participate in occasional weekend duties and school events
- Adhere to all Academy policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Help maintain and foster a structured, disciplined, and positive classroom environment
- Support the Academy's mission of academic achievement, leadership development, and character education
- Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to employment
- Ability to meet all employment eligibility requirements
