College Financial Aid Advisor

GRASP has an opening for a part‑time college financial aid advisor to work at King & Queen County High School during the school year. Advisors are assigned to a particular school one day per week.

All training is provided: 2‑4 days per year in Richmond or virtually.

• Provide individualized advising to students and parents regarding how best to pay for post‑secondary education.
• Join with all staff in GRASP’s continuous development work in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion – with those efforts directly furthering GRASP’s mission.
• The candidate should have a heart for helping students, be committed to the community, and understand the confidentiality of student information.

• College degree required.
• Background check required.
• Prior expertise in college financial aid is not required; all necessary information will be provided in training.
• Familiarity with languages in addition to English would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
