Job Summary/Objective:
Sweet Briar College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Business or Adjunct Instructor of Business with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate member will teach a variety of courses that lead to a B.A. in Business with a particular focus on teaching in marketing, will have the opportunity to make contributions to our innovative women's leadership core curriculum.
Sweet Briar is a liberal arts college for women with a long history of forging female leaders. Located in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains approximately 12 miles north of Lynchburg and 54 miles south of Charlottesville. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- M.B.A. or D.B.A., or related degree, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in marketing, or a Ph.
D. in a relevant field; - Demonstrated excellence in teaching and excellent communication skills

The salary range for the Full Time position is $55,000.00- $65,000.00 per year. This is commensurate with education and experience and will be determined in accordance with institutional guidelines.
The salary range for the adjunct position is $3,500.00- $5,500 per course. This is commensurate with education and experience and will be determined in accordance with institutional guidelines.
