JOB TITLE:

Teacher Aide

FSLA:
Non‑exempt

• High School Diploma
• Must pass Paraprofessional Assessment or complete 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s Degree
• Experience working with children preferred
• Highly motivated; able to multitask
• Demonstrates effective communication skills
• Able to lift 40 lbs. to shoulder height occasionally
• Able to operate a personal computer, laptop, peripheral equipment, photocopier, fax machine, and other office equipment with a high degree of accuracy

• Understands child growth and behavior
• Demonstrates leadership ability with children
• Exhibits creativity and innovation
• Assists in instructional activities as assigned
• Complies with School Board policies and regulations

• Maintains confidentiality
• Attends meetings and training as directed
• Presents and communicates in a professional manner
• Performs other duties as assigned by Principal/Supervisor

Salary Range: $16,978.81 - $25,468.23
