Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Courtland, VA

Qualifications:

• Current and active COTA license in Virginia (VA)
• Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the needs of K-12th grade students
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Passion for facilitating learning and functional gains in school‑aged children

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and supervision guidelines
• Implement activities to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Document session notes, progress, and collaborate with educators, parents, and team members
• Support inclusion efforts within general education settings and special education programs
• Maintain schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
