The PA Principal Faculty – Assistant/Associate Professor in the MSPA Program is a full-time, on-site role based in Fishersville, VA. This position is responsible for teaching didactic and/or clinical courses within the Master of Science in Physician Assistant program, developing and updating course materials, and assessing student learning outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, leading small group activities, advising and mentoring students, and participating in skills labs and clinical simulations.

The faculty member collaborates with colleagues on curriculum design, accreditation activities, and continuous quality improvement for the program. Additional duties include engaging in scholarship or professional development, serving on program and university committees, and contributing to outreach and service initiatives that support the mission of Mary Baldwin University.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification; or appropriate terminal degree (e.g., MD/DO, PhD, EdD) in a related field.
• Eligibility for, or current, licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia (if clinically applicable).
• Demonstrated experience in physician assistant or medical education, including classroom teaching, clinical instruction, or academic
