Lead Teacher

Kinder Care is seeking a Lead Teacher for North Elementary to inspire and support young learners in a safe, engaging classroom. In this role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, nurture social-emotional and academic growth, and maintain strong communication with families. You'll mentor classroom staff, ensure compliance with safety and licensing standards, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom instruction and activities for elementary-age children
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned lesson plans
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Observe and assess children's development and learning progress
• Communicate regularly with families about student growth and classroom events
• Mentor and guide assistant teachers and support staff
• Maintain classroom records and compliance with school and licensing standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and school-wide initiatives
