The first three days of the course will be delivered asynchronously online. The final two days will consist of mandatory, in-person lab sessions. The lab will be held in either Regina or Saskatoon, depending on the students’ location.

The role of this position will include teaching, coaching and supervising students of the Emergency Nursing program in clinical or lab settings.
- Facilitate program delivery by providing tutorial assistance, psychomotor skills labsand seminars in designated areas of Saskatchewan. Coordinate and support clinical experiences and revise curriculum as needed. Knowledge and/or experience in distance education would be an asset.
- Manage the learning environment; provide student support and counselling so as to facilitate student success.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Facilitate effective and efficient program administration and maintenance. Monitor program effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships.
Description Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the contract, the following terms must be met by the candidate:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or in a related field.
- Eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Two years recent and relevant nursing experience in emergency nursing.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the area of adult education with the ability to apply theory, practices and principles of adult education.
- Knowledge and/or experience in distance education and interactive media software incorporating web technologies into curriculum.
- 7. Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).
- Effective interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
- Effective instructional ability.
