Master Driver Instructor

Provide academic instruction in accordance with course material, POI, technical manuals, and student workbooks. Instruction includes classroom and hands-on performance tests. Student critiques are in accordance with USATSCH Standard Operating Procedures. Assist in developing training material such as Lesson Plans, PowerPoint Presentations, Outlines of Presentations, Student Handouts and Test Material. Assist in updating technical content of lesson material. Develop revisions to the POIs, Lesson Plans and Training Support Packages (TSPs).

Perform Assistant Instructor responsibilities IAW the POI. Instructors provide remediation training, maintain classrooms by reconfiguring/setting up classroom furnishings, sort and maintain training aids and equipment, stock training materials and equipment, and/or assist with outdoor training site maintenance. Instruct students regarding the details of Transportation based Technical Manuals and Training Circulars applicable to the MDTQCC POI. All services shall be conducted IAW USATSCH SOP.

Prepare classrooms, training areas and training materials to ensure that the class is started on time to include reviewing lesson plans, subject matter material, preparing training aids, inputting student data into Blackboard and ensuring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is utilized.

Support the MDTQCC in residence and distance learning via Blackboard, MS Teams and Mobile Training Teams (MTTs). Prepare reports including class files, student files and grade reports. Ensure classroom travel kits (including, but not limited to, Instructor Binders, Visitor Table equipment and supplies, etc.) are transported to and from the MTT sites.

Travel as a member of the MTT.
