Level I

High School Diploma/GED and CDA/ACDS Credential

$14.81/hour

Level II

Level I requirements plus one year experience

$16.02/hour

Level III

Level I requirements plus two years’ experience. AA degree in Early Childhood Education or related area preferred.

$17.38/hour

Qualifications
  • High school Diploma or GED and CDA/ACDS credentials.
  • Have a desire to work with your children.
  • Have a strong interest in improving self and community.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Written and Verbal Communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record or State issued .
  • Must pass required background and drug screening.
Key Responsibilities (This is a sampling of duties and responsibilities)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, health, and nurturing learning environment that supports children’s well-being and development.
  • Plan and implement individualized, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, language, physical, and motor skill development.
  • Use positive guidance strategies to encourage independence, confidence, self-esteem, appropriate behavior, and positive interactions among children and adults.
  • Observe, document, and assess children’s progress, complete required developmental assessments, behavior checklist, and records within established timelines.
  • Partner with families and staff to support school readiness, family engagement, classroom schedules, transitions, learning centers, materials, and program activities.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that respects each child’s and family’s culture, language, background, family structure, and individual needs.
  • Maintain required credentials, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and professionalism in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and program policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
