Safety Coordinator (Full‑Time)
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team and help support safety initiatives across our operations.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain company safety programs and procedures.
- Conduct safety orientations and training for new and existing employees.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company safety standards.
- Support supervisors and field crews in identifying hazards before work begins.
- Perform site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑mises and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incident reports.
- Promote proactive safety practices including near‑miss reporting and safety observations.
- Monitor PPE usage and overall safety equipment condition.
- Collaborate with leadership and field personnel to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a safety‑related role.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- OSHA 30‑Hour Certification.
- First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification.
- Visiting industrial and construction job sites.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
- Climbing stairs and ladders as needed.
