Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Boydton, VA, for a Senior Procurement Engineer. The Senior Procurement Engineer will perform daily tasks such as supplier evaluation, oversight of procurement processes, and management of purchase orders. The role involves conducting market research, handling requests for quotations (RFQs), ensuring cost-effective procurement practices, and maintaining strong communication with suppliers and internal teams. The candidate will play a critical role in meeting project timelines and ensuring alignment with organizational and industry standards.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and the ability to assess supplier performance
- Experience with Purchase Orders and managing procurement workflows
- Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
- Knowledge and experience in preparing and handling Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with procurement or supply chain software is a plus
- Ability to manage work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Prior experience in industrial, data center, or renewable energy sectors is beneficial
