Position Type:
Onsite. Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance within 30 days.
- Support Raytheon Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) as a Senior Test & Validation Engineer.
- Work within production operations and the manufacturing discipline to support electronics test and evaluate test processes, special test equipment, data analysis tools, and test requirements.
- Develop and maintain test procedures.
- Operate RF systems (circuits and test equipment).
- Analyze test data and determine if hardware meets specification.
- Maintain related Special Test Equipment (STE) and specify replacement equipment when required.
- Transform complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging slides.
- Train technicians to use test procedures and provide written directions for troubleshooting instruction.
- Train entry‑level Test Engineers on the test process.
- Travel may be required (typically less than 10%).
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Root cause analysis and resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment).
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Engineering.
- Experience diagnosing and isolating technical issues with test equipment and production hardware.
- Experience interpreting product specifications and requirements.
- Experience with optical fiber in communication systems.
- Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics.
- Experience performing analysis of technical data.
- Experience with RF circuits and test equipment.
- Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
