The Test Technician will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical tasks in support of processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, laboratories, production/test environment, line maintenance and/or chemical handling.
Responsibilities- Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install a wide variety of electronic, electro‑mechanical, mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and/or equipment.
- Observe, analyze, and report test data; and when appropriate make necessary repairs to equipment.
- Work closely from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings, validating the correctness of procedures.
- Set up and operate engineering and scientific equipment, utilizing various drawings, manuals, and related documentation.
- Perform configuration/data administration and checks for work correctness.
- Train junior test technicians focusing on basic electronic principles and radio‑frequency theory of operations and troubleshooting methodology.
- Communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries which correlate failure modes back to the associated test specification(s). Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.
- Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose failures from system level to Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), down to Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and to component.
- Perform lifting, walking, and stair/ladder climbing at the test range(s). This will be a 1st shift, onsite role in our Forest, MS facility.
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience).
- Experience with troubleshooting electronic circuits to component level and effectively identifying failure trends.
- Experience with radio‑frequency system and subsystems (transmitter, receiver, antenna, signal/data processor, power supply) evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD "Secret"). U.S. citizenship required.

Experience with radio‑frequency or electronic warfare (EW) systems. - Preferred:
Previous work in a manufacturing/production test environment. - Preferred:
Data entry experience with an industry ERP (e.g., PRISM, Oracle E‑Business, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Salary range: $47,700 - $90,900 USD.
