Surveyor / Crew Chief

Terra Tech Engineering is seeking an experienced Surveyor / Crew Chief to lead field survey operations across a variety of projects. This role is responsible for overseeing survey crews, operating survey equipment, and ensuring accurate and efficient data collection.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing reliable work, can operate independently in the field, and is comfortable leading and coordinating with others on active job sites.

• Lead and manage field survey crews on assigned projects
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment (GPS, total station, data collectors, etc.)
• Collect and verify accurate field data for project use
• Coordinate with project managers and office staff as needed
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements
• Maintain clear and organized field notes and documentation

• Prior experience as a Surveyor or Crew Chief
• Strong working knowledge of surveying equipment and field procedures
• Ability to lead a crew and work independently in field settings
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
