We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Technician to support an engineering services contract in Dahlgren, VA.

• Assist the engineers in preparing equipment for off-site test events.
• Install test equipment during integration test events on board naval vessels.
• Prepare equipment shipments to and from test events.
• Complete documentation for shipping and receiving of test equipment before/after test events.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of the available equipment.
• Support local transport of equipment (usually within a one-day timeframe with our government vans/trucks).
• Support engineering teams at test events.
• Execute tests using test equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators and Power Supplies.
• Assist with design and documentation in support of test events.

• Experience with electronic test equipment and testing protocols.
• Ability to handle manual labor (carrying heavy equipment) and tolerate shipboard work environments.
• Willingness to travel, with some trips up to 2-3 weeks in length.
• Ability to travel up to 25 - 40%.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Experience with shipboard testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of General Electronic Systems.
• Logistics Support.
• Hardware Assembly, Testing, and Repair.
• Effective Communication Skills.
• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
