Electrical & Instrument Foreman
Our client, a specialized food manufacturing company with expertise in sugar production, is actively looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrument Foreman to join their team in Jeddah.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrument systems in the food manufacturing facility.
- Lead a team of technicians and provide guidance to ensure efficient and effective electrical and instrument operations.
- Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure that projects are completed within timelines and budget constraints.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrument issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure that all electrical and instrument work complies with relevant safety codes, standards, and regulations.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in electrical and instrument maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize the performance of electrical and instrument systems within the manufacturing process.
- Participate in daily operational meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and safety measures.
- Provide support for ship unloading operations, ensuring the efficient functioning of control systems.
- Conduct routine tours of operational areas to inspect electrical and instrument systems, identifying issues and ensuring compliance.
- Generate daily reports summarizing key activities, issues, and progress related to electrical and instrument functions.
- Manage email communications, promptly responding to requests and queries related to electrical and instrument operations.
- Address and correct safety findings, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and stakeholders.
- Implement planned preventive maintenance (PM) works on electrical and instrument systems according to schedule.
- Oversee the execution and installation of approved engineering modifications, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Participate in engineering safety committee meetings, contributing insights and updates on electrical and instrument safety.
- Experience:
2 to 3 years in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of electrical and instrument systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
