Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a full‑time SSDS Test Director Specialist to oversee the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW), in Wallops Island, VA.

• Assist in various types of electronic systems such as SSDS, C4I, Combat Systems, Communication Systems, etc.
• Perform system design, integration, modification, testing, installation engineering, and design engineering. Develop and review equipment test plans and procedures, conduct analyses, analyze test results, and recommend design changes to bring systems into compliance with design/performance specifications.
• Adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow operations through a series of detailed steps or processes. Coordinate, compute, or synthesize engineering or technical data.
• Use prescribed mathematical formulae and/or models to calculate performance characteristics for electronic systems.
• Supervise technical staff assigned to the project.
• Train project personnel in the procedures and approaches available for the work effort.

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 8 years of experience with SSDS combat system baseline configurations, including supporting elements and equipment, communication systems, and interdependencies and interfaces associated with these systems. An Associate’s Degree in a technical or computer related discipline could substitute for 2 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technicians and conducting system level troubleshooting with familiarity with the various types of site switches and their capability.
• At least 5 years of experience setting up and configuring combat system baselines to support SSDS mission events.
• 3 years of experience in loading and maintaining program/project documentation on Combat Systems, including loading computer programs and equipment, verifying system operations, setting up and collecting data recording/data extraction, and documenting observed issues/problems while operating combat system suites.

• Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Prefer an active DoD Secret security clearance.

• Occasional travel up to 25%.
• If the position requires domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL , by the start of the position. • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
