About the role:

Consulting Engineer Surry Nuclear Plant Surry, VA 12 Months Reporting to the Engineering Manager Westinghouse is looking for an engineer on behalf of our client to work with Projects Team (Subsequent License Renewal) is looking for an engineer. This engineer will be versed and competent in the design and fabrication of piping supports and rigging analysis. The engineer must also be able to perform design verifications and owners reviews.

These reviews involve design change/engineering change packages developed following the commercial U.S. nuclear fleet standard design process.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will have a working knowledge of civil /structural engineering analysis, evaluations, and component design.
• You will provide civil engineering support for a variety of large projects at SPS which may include, Crane Replacements, Feedwater Heater Replacements, building modifications, large piping, and other major component replacements.
• You will schedule major engineering segments of complex projects to meet long range design development schedule goals.
• You will attend station schedule and outage meetings.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of design engineering experience
• Civil/Structural Engineering degree (B.S. minimum, M.S. a plus). (ABET accredited)
• High school diploma is a min requirement
• Familiarity with standard civil engineering codes
• Qualifications for writing equipment specifications
• Experience with large projects
• 10 CFR 50.59 Screen preparation and review experience

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $80.00 - $100.00.
