Project OverviewCandidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing Design Changes, calculations, and technical evaluations in support of large capital projects as part of Surry Power Station's Subsequent License Renewal. Candidate will work extensively with Engineers of Choice and manufacturers to ensure designs satisfy technical specifications and station design/license basis. Projects include, but are not limited to – 96" circulating water intake piping replacement, 4160V Cable Replacement, Fuel Handling Cranes Replacement, Containment cooling coil replacement, and R22 Elimination
Preferred Experience8+ years
B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Engineering Mechanics
Commercial nuclear power plants within the last 3 years
Architect/Engineer companies such as Sargent & Lundy, Enercon, Zachry, and similar
Interview ProcessVideo interview
One year, incremental in 6-month increments
