Process Engineer
Process Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing operations by identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance. This role partners closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to eliminate waste, optimize workflows, standardize processes, and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and customer service.
- Facilitating Lean Manufacturing activities including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S, visual management, and waste elimination projects.
- Identifying process inefficiencies and developing sustainable solutions to improve operational performance.
- Promoting a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
- Analyzing manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and implementing process changes that improve throughput, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency.
- Establishing standardized work procedures and best practices.
- Monitoring and validating process improvements to ensure sustained results.
- Collecting and analyzing production, quality, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Using root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Developing performance metrics and dashboards to track operational effectiveness.
- Recommending corrective and preventive actions based on findings.
- Partnering with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Supporting new product launches, process changes, and equipment implementation projects.
- Providing training and coaching on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
- Participating in plant meetings and operational reviews to drive performance improvements.
- Leading and managing process improvement projects from identification through implementation.
- Developing project plans, timelines, and measurable success criteria.
- Tracking project savings and operational benefits.
- Presenting recommendations and project results to plant leadership.
- Supporting initiatives that improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Assisting with corrective action investigations and process validation activities.
- Ensuring improved processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Contributing to a safe working environment through process and ergonomic improvements.
- Supporting and leading capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, facility improvements, etc. ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve expected operational performance and return on investment.
- Analyzing technical malfunctions, making suggestions for improvement, testing and implementing the necessary improvements, including hands-on troubleshooting.
- Optimizing the operation of manufacturing processes by finding the optimum processing, packaging, and machine settings.
- Participating in the Root Cause Analysis of quality problems to determine cause and solutions, coordinating with the maintenance and production departments to implement solutions.
