Requires thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, and equipment used in water system operations and mechanical components; repair and maintenance; knowledge of the occupational hazards of the work and necessary safety precautions; knowledge of the biological principles upon which water treatment is based.
Under general supervision of the Chief Water Operator, performs technical work related to the operation, repair and maintenance of the water system, and performs related work as required.
Salary Range:$46,404.41-$49,972.47
Trainee will be considered if a qualified Operator IV applicant is not identified. Trainee salary $43,307.90 - $46,637.86
