Our products include launch vehicles, missile defense systems, and hypersonic propulsion. Our site near Culpeper, VA, in Orange County, is a center of excellence for Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion and Energetics development, as well as high-complexity production programs.

We are seeking a Lead Safety Engineer to join our growing facility in Culpeper, Virginia.

Essential Functions
  • Work performed under limited supervision.
  • Must be experienced in OSHA 1910 General Industry standards.
  • Perform hazard analysis and risk assessments.
  • Assist in accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections to identify and eliminate non-compliance issues.
  • Manage projects related to energetics and safety, including incident investigations, risk management, and process hazard analysis.
  • Conduct training and communication campaigns to raise site-wide safety awareness.
  • Serve as interface and liaison with employees, managers, customers, auditors, and regulators.
