• Qualified to a minimum of Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline, supported by practical experience
• Proven technical expertise within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
• Strong problem‑solving capability
  , with experience in root cause analysis of technical issues.
• Proficient in key systems and tools
  , including Microsoft Excel, PI Process Book, and SAP Planned Maintenance.
• Competent in risk assessment and change control processes, ensuring compliance and safe working practices.
• Experienced in leading root cause analysis and fault-finding investigations to drive sustainable improvements.

• Ability to fault find and problem solve on a broad range of equipment in a variety of situations.
• Effective delivery of maintenance activities
  , to ensure smooth transition between maintenance and production availability of equipment.
• Take part in risk assessments and formulation of method statements to assist in safe undertaking of any activity.
• Identify parts for the purchasing of goods and services where these are necessary to conclude work.
• Fix breakdowns in a timely manner during their shift timeframe.
• Level one problem solving including component failure analysis.
• Detailed entry into Atlas of all breakdowns / known jobs.
