- Design and develop innovative HVAC systems, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Select appropriate components, including fans, heat exchangers, and compressors, to meet design specifications and performance requirements.
- Analyze refrigeration cycle performance to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems.
- Awareness of electrical diagrams and control systems.
- Stay familiar with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure designs are cutting-edge and compliant.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
- Participate in product testing
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
- Profound understanding of the refrigeration cycle, component functionality, and system performance optimization.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and control systems.
- Familiarity with various types of compressors, fans, heat exchangers, coils, and valves in HVAC systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with complex assemblies of many parts.
- HVAC industry experience in a manufacturer.
- General knowledge of CAD
- Large commercial, chiller, or industrial refrigeration design experience
- Product testing and troubleshooting
- Experience with parts specification and parts list generation
