Environmental Engineer, Environmental Compliance & Protection
Lead site-wide safety and environmental compliance, management systems, audits, training, risk reduction, incident investigations, and engagement with authorities and stakeholders. Oversee environmental operations at the plant, including wastewater and water treatment, waste disposal, resource efficiency, permits, and implementation of new requirements.
RequirementsA bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related chemical engineering field and a certified safety engineer credential issued for the chemical industry or a dangerous-goods manufacturing company are required; enterprise and dangerous-goods enterprise safety management certificates are also required. Environmental engineering and firefighting engineering certifications are preferred, along with excellent written and spoken English and Chinese and strong safety, environmental, regulatory, and leadership capabilities.
