Welcome to Rockingham Grand Casino, one of the newest properties in CDI’s expanding portfolio of gaming and entertainment venues. We are located in Dumfries, VA, and are looking for a Cash/Player Services Rep to join our team on the Rose Gaming Resort property.

Job SummaryThe Cage/Player Services Cashier is responsible for the redemption of gaming tickets/TITOs, sports wagering vouchers, performing check cashing/cash advance transactions, and placing sports wagers for guests while ensuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Cash customers out, give correct change, and answer customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
- Place sports wagers and redeem sports wagering vouchers for cash.
- Accurately count and record assigned funds and make exchanges of funds throughout the shift to ensure a favorable gaming experience.
- Keep the cash drawer balanced and impressed; make exchanges with the vault as necessary.
- Verify and document personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
- Complete CTRs, W2
Gs, and MTLs. - Maintain customer relations.
- Fill in as a main banker when necessary.
- Track and issue player cards for new and existing accounts.
- Redeem points from accounts for patrons for cash or prizes.
- Assist with weekly and large-scale gaming tournaments, including registration, greeting buses, handing out coupon books, issuing Oak Grove Player cards, handling special coupons, and other related duties.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.
- Assist with promotions and special events setup/teardown, execution, and announcements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
Skills and Abilities
- Attend required training sessions offered by the company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures related to the department.
- Have knowledge of the property’s program to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the employee may have knowledge.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Banking and guest service experience preferred.
- Proficiency with required programs;
Word and Excel preferred. - Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas.
The physical demands of this position include sitting or standing, walking, using hands to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs. The noise level is usually moderate to loud. The employee is expected to circulate throughout assigned areas, including the smoking area, and actively observe players and machine functioning.
