Salary Range: $86,000 - $125,000 annually (varies on education and experience)
Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted business partner to the Stuarts Draft Plant and Leadership, providing data‑driven insights to drive performance.
- Track and report actual performance against plans, forecasts, and standards.
- Track and analyze spending trends and headcount, driving corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly closing entries and financial statements with analytics.
- Support the preparation of the annual plan and interim projections, ensuring credible plant estimates.
- Maintain accurate standard costs in SAP.
- Drive process improvements in financial analysis.
- Manage expense vs. capital decisions in accordance with GAAP and corporate guidelines.
- Act as financial advisor and validate Plant Cost Savings initiatives and Should Cost processes.
- Support Hollister Production System (HPS) and Fit for Growth initiatives (FFG).
- Validate and approve Engineering Change Notice impacts on standard costs.
- Maintain internal controls and segregation of duties, ensuring audit conformance.
- Ensure inventories are recorded per GAAP, maintaining adequate obsolescence reserves.
- Achieve competency in all skill requirements outlined in the training profile.
- Represent the Finance Team in plant meetings.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Ability to interface with a computer for long periods.
- Frequent movement over large manufacturing floor area.
- Public speaking requirements.
- Constant utilization of listening skills.
- 5–8 years overall experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing cost accounting environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, and/or CPA certification preferred.
- Standard cost valuation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Cost accounting in an ERP system; SAP preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
