U.S. International Tax Manager

Specific focus on U.S. income tax matters related to international operations. Aspects of the role will also include a review of U.S. tax forms to ensure that transactions are reported accurately.

* Assists tax planning team with research related to international tax projects, part of the team implementing our corporate tax strategy.

* Assists in U.S. income tax analysis of international tax planning, implementation, reporting and integration of transactions, including restructurings and acquisitions. Uses highly technical skills to present alternatives that will minimize tax liabilities and tax risk.

* As requested, performs detailed review of tax returns or work papers for conformity with appropriate tax and accounting regulations and consistency with tax planning projects.

* Assists with gathering documents relevant for international audits, as requested by the international accounting or operations teams.

* Coordinates special tax projects that may overlap with other business disciplines.

* Assists with developing and supervising department staff and senior level professionals and consultants.

* Possesses technical knowledge equivalent to a manager at an accounting firm.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
Advanced degree or CPA preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

5 - 8 years related experience. Public accounting background and international tax experience preferred.
