The Revenue Audit Supervisor reports to the Revenue Audit Manager and assists in providing direction and troubleshooting in daily audits, supervising Revenue Audit staff, and ensuring all audit programs are completed daily. The supervisor performs numerous audit and financial reporting functions, including preparation of journal entries, auditing functions, and recording financial information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists in developing revenue audit checklists.
- Follows the revenue auditor's daily checklists to ensure all daily revenue audit steps have been completed.
- Reconciles any errors and records corrections using proper documentation.
- Reviews and follows up on audit exceptions issued by clerks.
- Assists in updating and reviewing the Flash Report daily.
- Assists in training, assessing, and reviewing the job performance of subordinates.
- Assists in managing schedules and duties of revenue auditors.
- Schedules and coordinates recurring functions such as month-end inventory counts and observations.
- Assists with independent auditors and internal auditors as required.
- Completes necessary and assigned reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Ensures compliance with all audit and internal procedures.
- Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and gaming policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all revenue-related documents are safeguarded.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Attend the required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble, loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the department.
- Have knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing to which the team member may have knowledge.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
