The Assistant Director of Finance (ADF) is one of two fully cross‑trained, interchangeable senior staff level positions responsible for supporting the Director of Finance in managing all financial operations of a multi‑program human‑services agency with an employee population ~270. Programs Supported:
Area Agency on Aging (AAA), Public Transit, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

• Financial Operations & Accounting A/R, A/P, payroll Oversight
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
• Grants, Contracts & Funding Compliance
• Public Transit Financial Oversight
• Payroll & Benefits Oversight
• Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls

• - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• - 3–5+ years progressive accounting/finance experience
• - Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit/governmental fund accounting
• - Experience with grants management and multi‑fund accounting
• - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• - Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• - High integrity and confidentiality
• - Strong communication and leadership skills
• - Supervisory experience

• - Experience in human services, healthcare, PACE, or public transit
• - Experience with federal and state grant compliance
