Duties
* Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Technology Futures Branch ensuring the branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
* Represents organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Represents MAJCOM and AF on Intelligence Community, Joint and DoD innovation and experimentation committees and working groups.
* Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Requirements Conditions of employment

* All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
* If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

* Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide
* Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays

* The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
* An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is highly desirable.
* Incumbent may be subject to psychological screening/ polygraph testing as an inherent primary requirement of their position.
* Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement. Qualifications This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:

Examples of creditable experience include: a mastery of one or more professional or administrative fields. The employee has this level applies experimental theories and new developmental to problems not responsible to treatment but accepts methods and/or makes decisions or recommendations significantly changing interpreting or developing important policies and programs.

Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
* Knowledge and ability to Facilitate grassroots innovation and experimentation efforts in direct support of the intelligence warfighter.
* Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices and multi-source intelligence information systems to capture and report on data in order to develop intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, interpret policy, and commit resources.
* Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DOD and Air Force organizations to provide command level staff guidance on various management programs and issues.
* Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to apply laws, executive orders, regulations, policies, and concepts pertaining to military and civilian personnel programs.
* Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff, supervise, mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization and establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers,…
