Duties DUTY 1:
Serves as a senior Intelligence advisor and primary consultant on intelligence matters supporting Air Force Point Defense. DUTY 2:
Provides Intelligence guidance, oversight, and advanced analytic support to Air Force Point Defense organizations, training programs, and readiness processes. DUTY 3:
Develops and presents intelligence-derived threat assessments as related to Point Defense force generation to a variety of senior-level customers. DUTY 4:
Serves as a senior technical intelligence authority on adversary air and missile threats impacting the Point Defense mission set. DUTY 5:
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards. Requirements Conditions of employment

* All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

* Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft/vehicle to conferences, meetings, or functions away from the duty office/location. Travel may include overnight stays. Qualifications This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level.
The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions. REQUIRED:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include:
Mastery of a comprehensive range of intelligence research, collection methods, analytical applications, principles, concepts, and methodologies that includes the evaluation of many diverse sources of information to inform and support the Air Force's Organize, Train, and Equip (OT&E) functions for the Point Defense mission.

Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the National Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and USAF structure, organization, roles, missions, and inter-relationships, to include intelligence policy and guidance.
2. Knowledge of the Air Force's Organize, Train, and Equip (OT&E) functions and the role of intelligence in force generation, doctrine development, training curricula design, and the DOTMLPF-P process as it applies to the Point Defense mission.
3. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods and advanced analytical principles required to produce detailed threat assessments on adversary air and missile capabilities, identify intelligence gaps, and advocate for intelligence requirements in support of training and readiness.
