FORCE Structure AND Sustainment Specialist Security Clearance

Position: FORCE STRUCTURE AND SUSTAINMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Location: Langley

Duties
* MAJCOM Enlisted Force Structure and Sustainment Management. Leads and facilitates MAJCOM enlisted force structure and sustainment program management and Site Action Task Force (SATAF) teams to identify requirements, determine timing/sequencing plans of action tailored to each basing actions' unique circumstances, and develop action items/milestones for immediate and long-range force structure basing plans.
* Actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques. Lead (and only) Personnel Chairperson for all ACC Site Action Task Forces (SATAF), representing the A1 Director to analyze and develop enlisted force structure and sustainment program planning for the full scope of ACC and CAF mission areas and major weapon systems, including but not limited to: CAF, ISR, and Cyberspace operations, maintenance, support, and training.

* Documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet Air Force and Major Command requirements. Prepares detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for assigned programs.
* Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned program(s). Regularly advises senior MAJCOM leaders, installation/wing commanders, Career Field Managers and MAJCOM Functional Managers. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance
* Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft/vehicle to conferences, meetings, or functions away from the duty office/location. Travel may include overnight stays
* May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours and/or Shift work may be required which may include overtime and/or irregular hours. Shift work may be required
* This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing
* Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety
* Air Force or Combat Air Force aircraft maintenance or operations functional area management experience is highly desirable

EXPERIENCE:
