Job Duties
The office of Family Health Services - Early Childhood Health Unit is currently recruiting for Human Services Program Coordinator. This role would consist of _ providing technical assistance to the MIECHV program sites regarding implementation of the local projects. Monitors MIECHV contract sites for fidelity to the evidence-based home visiting models and state program standards. Monitors the MIECHV grant contracts through review of monthly and quarterly reports, telephone/virtual conferences and routine site visits.
Aids in the facilitation of MIECHV program site visits through scheduling and communication with site and Fiscal Compliance team. Reviews progress of MIECHV sites' progress in achieving MIECHV benchmarks. Collaborates with MIECHV Evaluator to determine sites areas of improvement. Reviews of invoices from MIECHV sites for accuracy and appropriate expenditures and their current budget for timely and accurate expenditures. Conducts monthly invoice reconciliation checks and monitors site spending.
Makes recommendations and reviews requests for budget modifications. Develops and demonstrates positive relationships with other team/division staff. Actively participates in team/staff meetings. Participates and interacts as a contributing team member to accomplish team goals and completion of teamwork assignments. Willingness to assist others to help meet Division, Unit and agency goals. Shows initiative when completing work assignments.
This position provides support, in a staff capacity, by focusing on intermediate term program issues with agency wide application. Characteristic duties include: program development, planning, monitoring, analysis, grants management, recommending policies and procedures, program research, and evaluating changes in rules, regulations and legislative proposals for impact on service delivery. Thorough knowledge of program management, analytical principles and service integration is necessary.
Responsibilities are carried out independently based on an outline or work plan developed by or approved by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
* Knowledge of program planning, research, evaluation, and quality control methods.
* Experience providing technical assistance related to program development and analysis.
* Experience in conducting research, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
* Ability to interpret and implement data collection and reporting requirements.
* Experience leading complex research or related projects.
* Ability to develop reports, manage electronic data, and create effective data visualizations.
* Skilled in presenting information clearly and effectively.
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written, to provide leadership, set priorities, facilitate collaboration, and effectively convey information to others.
