Location: Bedford
Bedford County Sheriff's Office in Bedford, Virginia seeks Deputy Sheriff Recruits who are paid to attend a six-month law enforcement academy at the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. Base pay is $50,250 per year, with employment as non-exempt full-time.
After completing the academy, recruits will undergo a roughly three-month field training program before serving independently. Incentives include a take-home vehicle within 5 air miles, gym access and tuition assistance, plus overtime
