This occupational medicine clinic provides comprehensive workplace health services and urgent care treatment in an outpatient setting. The facility utilizes AllScripts EMR system and typically provides new clinicians with a one-week orientation and training period alongside a permanent physician before independent practice. The clinic serves both private companies and governmental agencies for various occupational health needs.

Virginia offers diverse attractions including the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, where visitors can observe marine life such as sharks, sea turtles, and otters through interactive exhibits and 3D experiences. The region features numerous budget-friendly activities and hosts various events throughout the year, including music festivals and specialty train experiences like wine trains and themed rides.

The clinician will treat both scheduled and walk-in work-related injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting, working 4-5 days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with no call requirements. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating work-related injuries, performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and governmental agencies. The clinician will evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis, may oversee and collaborate with advanced practice providers, and perform in-office procedures while communicating with employers.

Patient demographics consist of 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care cases, with an average caseload of 20-25 patients per day.
