Job DescriptionAssociate Biomedical Technician is expected to participate in business growth and productivity improvement initiatives, as well as demonstrate boundaryless teamwork and assist in any function and/or role within the Biomed Center.
Shift and Compensation Details- Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Compensation: $22.00/hr.
- Performing preventative maintenance and minor repair on a variety of biomedical equipment.
- Assures a clean and orderly service area, providing a safe environment for service personnel.
- Individual and department productivity goals.
- Must be competent with inventory processes, utility technician responsibilities and complete all required training as directed by leader.
- May be required to communicate with vendors and customers in a professional and effective manner to resolve tasks.
- Demonstrates aptitude to learn the use of biomedical systems (i.e., One Track) and various device testing software.
- Strong commitment to the McKesson i2

- 0 - 1+ years of related experience
- Maintains compliance with all applicable standards (SOPs and work instructions) in performing job duties.
- Good decision‑making skills.
- Organized with strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to remain flexible and respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to lift 50+lbs.
- Biomedical associate's degree, similar healthcare technology management degree, biomedical-related military experience, vocational certification, related experience in medical device repair, or experience with biomedical programming/use. Vocational certification needs to be issued from an Accredited Certificate Program.
- Experience includes those who have attended OEM training and/or on-the-job training on various medical devices. Performs service on those devices and displays strong technical competency and productivity.
- Prior work experience preferred in the biomedical field.
