Job Summary
Piedmont Community Services is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to assist adults with developmental disabilities on a day-to-day basis with routine personal care needs, social support, and physical assistance in a wide range of daily living activities.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure individuals living in the group home receive individualized care, maintain dignity, and enjoy a safe comfortable home environment while leading a self-directed life in their own community.
Qualifications- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED (additional education/experience in human services is preferred)
- Basic computer skills and good patient documentation skills
- Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable ability to transport yourself to work sites, trainings, and meetings
- Experience with /DD individuals and CNA is a plus but not required
- Multiple shifts needed, rotating weekend availability may be required
Must be willing to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
