Therapist (CSAC / CSAC-S) – Medical Detox & Residential Treatment
Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our team at a primary substance abuse medical detox and residential treatment facility. The ideal candidate will be a CSAC or CSAC-S with experience providing clinical services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This position plays a key role in supporting patients throughout their recovery journey through individual counseling, group facilitation, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
Prior experience working in a behavioral health or substance abuse treatment center is preferred. Experience working with the Medicaid population is a plus.
ScheduleSchedule:
Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to patients in medical detox and residential treatment set
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely m
- Facilitate psycho educational and process groups focused on recovery, relapse prevention, coping skills, and emotional wel
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, case management, and behavioral health staff to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically approp
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with state, Medicaid, and Joint Commission stan
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and case re
- Support discharge planning and aftercare coordination to promote continuity of care
- Maintain professional boundaries and provide compassionate, patient-centered
