About the Opportunity

Augusta Health is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding Cardiology Department located in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley. As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will thrive in our outpatient clinic and state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.

Practice Highlights

• Practice Setting:
  Cardiology
• Schedule: Enjoy a 4/10 work week for better work-life balance
• Procedures: Clinic, In-patient and procedure support. Pre/Post cardiovascular management. In-patient, clinic, buckets, calls, telehealth, expansion to offsite clinic. Harrisonburg/Lexington
• Call: 1 in 7-9 weeks
• Current Staff: 5 MDs, 1 EP, 9 APPS, Office Coordinator, Lead RN, Nurse Navigator, CMA/LPN, AAs
• Clinical Volume: 16-20 visits daily once fully trained
• Collaboration: Strong collaboration between MDs and APPs. Mentorship and strong relationships with other specialties
• Qualifications
• Licensed PA or NP in Virginia
• ACLS/BLS
• 2 years experience preferred
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Strong interest in delivering state-of-the-art care in community settings
