Physician Assistant or Nurse Practioner - Interventional Cardiology

Augusta Health is seeking a Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding Interventional Cardiology Department located in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley. As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will thrive in our outpatient clinic and state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.

Practice Highlights

• Practice Setting:
  Interventional Cardiology, Clinic, In-patient hospital, Cath Lab
• Schedule: Enjoy a 4/10 work week for better work-life balance
• Procedures: Cath Lab procedure support, Pre/Post cardiovascular/vascular management
• Schedule: : Enjoy a 4/10 work week for better work-life balance
• Call: 1/7-9 weeks
• Current Staff: 5 MD’s, 1 EP, 9 APPS, Office Coordinator, Lead RN, Nurse Navigator, CMA/LPN, AA’s
• Clinical Volume: 16-20 visits daily once fully trained
• Collaboration: Strong collaboration between MD’s and APP’s. Mentorship and strong relationships with other specialties

Qualifications

• Licensed PA or NP in Virginia
• DEA Certification
• ACLS/BLS
• 2 years experience preferred
• Cardiology or critical care experience preferred
• Strong interest in delivering state-of-the-art care in community settings
