Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You assist people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. You are responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, designing the plan, and working with patients to execute those plans.

You're a healer and helper, adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is to design a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities.

You adapt to patient needs and thrive in a setting that keeps you moving through your day— from cleaning equipment to reporting and meeting participation.

You collaborate with peers and make referrals to support patients’ needs.

As a teacher, you train patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly titled area acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow; candidates eligible to obtain the certificate are acceptable.
  • Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
Posted Salary Range

USD $43.00 - $50.00 /hr.

Bonus

USD $25,000.00
